Arbor Pipeline Request a call

Tree service leads when the board is quiet

Tree service leads start by recording where the last jobs came from, then reading how a directory matches a request. A partner can call about incoming work. Asking is free.

Have a partner call

Tell us the company name, service area, crew size or monthly job target, and the work you take. A partner can call about incoming tree jobs.

Arbor Pipeline is an independent guide. Asking for a call does not hire anyone or book a job for your crew.

The short answer

Write down the last month of jobs and where each one started: a past customer, a search page, Angi, Thumbtack, or a referral. Angi says it matches one request to no more than five pros. That is a shared introduction, not a booked crew day. Call a directory only after you know how many other companies see the same homeowner. Ask a partner firm only after you know the service area and the work you take.

Tree service leads matter when the dispatch board is quiet. Record the last jobs, read how a directory matches a request, then decide who to call.

Record where the last jobs started

Save a month of work tickets. Mark each removal, storm job, and trim, and write whether it came from a past customer, a search page, a directory, or a referral. How do tree companies get more jobs? is the short version.

Homeowners still pay for the work itself. Angi, updated October 22, 2026, puts a national tree removal at $750 on average, with most jobs between $200 and $2,000. Those figures are homeowner prices. They are not a lead fee and they are not a bid for your crew.

Read how a shared directory matches a request

Angi's pro FAQ says each homeowner request is matched with no more than five pros, and that you are charged when both sides show interest, even if you do not open the lead. Thumbtack's help page says customers see matching pros and then choose, and that leads matching your job preferences are paid automatically.

Are Angi and Thumbtack leads exclusive? is that split. What is a shared tree lead? is the definition. We do not publish a private Angi or Thumbtack price.

Check the license before you take the job

Licensing is local. Louisiana's arborist page says an arborist license is required to work on trees for a fee. ISA says Certified Arborist is a voluntary credential and does not represent licensure. Do I need a license to run a tree service? keeps that split.

ANSI Z133-2026 is now the arboricultural safety standard. The 2017 edition stayed in effect through May 27, 2026. That is a crew-safety paper. It is not a marketing promise.

Decide who to call

Call past customers if the last month of tickets shows that is where the work started. Call a directory if you already know how many other companies see the same homeowner.

A partner firm starts to make sense when the board has open days, the directory bill is for shared requests, or you want a call about incoming jobs. Tree service leads beside Angi and Thumbtack is the checklist for that call.

Ice and wind keep Tulsa crews busy, Greensboro tree work sits under a conservation rule, Rochester keeps 70,000 public trees, and Baton Rouge wants a state arborist license keep the local permits and climate notes.

Ask about the quiet week

A partner can call about incoming tree jobs. Asking is free, and the call does not hire them or book a day for your crew.
